Rikki Shirt

    This shirt pays homage to Captain Robert Little, a fighter pilot, and the most succesful Australian flying ace in WW1, with an official tally of 47 victories. 

    Describe as an outstanding character, bold, aggressive and courageous, yet he was gentle and kindly. In aerial combat his brilliance derived from a combination of fearless aggression, quite exceptional eyesight, and superb marksmanship.

    Due to his short stature and couragous nature, Little became known as 'Rikki' to the squadron, after Kipling's mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, the deadly cobra-killer, as featured on the rear design of the shirt. The rear design takes inspiration from the way Little would fight in the air "Like mad".  The front logo incorperates two .303 Vickers machine guns, the typical armament on the Sopwith Triplane, the aircraft that Little achieved 37 victories in.
